Lions must be one of the main reasons that people go on a safari in Africa. However, they aren’t always the charismatic cats made out by the movies. In fact it can take quite a lot of patience and a good dose of luck to find them doing anything at all!
You can certainly improve your chances of seeing lions and hopefully capturing some action by getting up early and staying out late while on safari, they are nocturnal after all. If you can get onto a night drive this will greatly improve your chances of finding lions.
